সুনির্মল বসু (১৯০২-১৯৫৭) : বিহারের গিরিডিতে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। প্রধানত ছোটোদের জন্য তিনি ছড়া, কবিতা, গল্প, উপন্যাস, নাটক ইত্যাদি লিখেছেন। ছবি আঁকাতেও তিনি ছিলেন সমান দক্ষ। তাঁর লেখা বইগুলি হলো ছানাবড়া, ছন্দের টুংটাং, বীর শিকারি, বেড়ে মজা, হইচই, কথাশেখা ইত্যাদি। তিনি ১৯৫৬ সালে - ‘ভুবনেশ্বরী পদক’ পেয়েছিলেন।
